Who we are
Try Time Sports Travel (“Try Time”, “we”) is the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at bookings@trytime.co.uk or on 07956508663.
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message.
- Booking requests and bookings: the lead booker’s name, email and phone number; each passenger’s name, date of birth and, if given, their phone number and email; room and pickup choices; an emergency contact; and any dietary or access needs you tell us about.
- Payments: when online payment is available, card payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we receive a record of the amount paid.
- Website use: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used. Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set.
How we use it, and why we’re allowed to
- To reply to your enquiry (our legitimate interest in answering you).
- To arrange and run your trip: booking flights, hotels, transfers and tickets, and keeping you informed (to take steps you’ve asked for before a contract, and then to perform that contract).
- Dietary and access needs can include health information. We only use it to make arrangements for you, with your explicit consent, which you give when you send a booking request.
- To keep financial records we’re legally required to keep.
- To protect our forms from spam, using Cloudflare Turnstile (our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure).
Who we share it with
Only what’s needed to deliver your trip: airlines, hotels, coach and transfer operators and ticket providers. We also use service providers who process data for us: our website and email host (Hostinger), Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for spam protection and, if you consent, Google for analytics. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under safeguards approved for UK data transfers. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: deleted automatically after 12 months.
- Bookings: kept for two years after the trip, then deleted, except financial records we must keep for six years for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email bookings@trytime.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
